I’ve loved this doe from the start, but felt like she could really use more dairy strength and depth in her barrel. Turns out, all it took was some patience. Coming into her 3rd freshening in 2022 she has matured beautifully exactly as I’d hoped. The fuzzy photo of her in a kidding stall in the gallery above is while she was in very early labor Jan 2022.
Hoochee is a doe who excels in dairy strength, has a strong level back, admirable definition over the loin, and that udder! She was kind enough to drop quad doe kids as a FF, including a clone in Quaking Canopy Mississippi who stayed in our herd. These are all the ways to jump up high on the list of favorites with this goat farmer. Hoochee is a littermate sister to Quaking Canopy Deschutes.
