There are so few words I can muster to explain…Queso and Olly are my favorite does. I’m (clearly) not one to typically be short on words. Yet - sometimes a thousand words won’t say better what one sentence can say. For the longevity, for the substance, for the dairy strength, for the type, for the persistence, for the texture, for the production, for the simplicity of the following statement: she is a miniature dairy goat…Queso tops my wish list.
And for her gentle demeanor, her willingness in all things, her quiet voice, her herd queen status that is simply understood by the other does without force or fights, her short bursts of defiance that she quickly gives up if I ask her too (but are endearing to witness, just the same), for every time she has fallen asleep snuggled up with me, for every death nap where she stayed completely zonked out while I walked hundreds of feet calling out to her snoozing away until I was physically shaking her awake…she is my doe.
