Quaking Canopy Cheshire Cat
Cheshire is included in yearlings because she was born November 2021, although she was part of our 2022 breeding season.
I’ll always look at this doe and remember I had put her on a sales list when she was covered in cashmere and in a bit of a wild hare stage. But something about her always caught my eye, was just always so appealing to me and what I want to see out in the barn everyday. So perhaps a day or two after taking some candid fuzzy photos and listing her for sale I decided - ya know what - I should just clip her. Afterall, I could get stacked photos since I have her listed as available right? Sure! Let’s clip Cheshire!
I clipped Cheshire. Got my hands on her without all the floof in the way. HA JUST KIDDING. That’s Mine. And here she stayed.
Because of ADGA hiccups I didn’t get her registered until the very end of the 2022 show season and was only able to take her to two shows in late summer. She regularly stood at the top of her class of yearlings despite being a November kid and much much less mature than the other does in the class. When she wasn’t at the top, she was close to the top. She grabbed a Jr RGCH as well at REDGA in August of 2022. I can’t imagine I’ll soon forget thinking I should just clip her.
