2021 was not kind to my soul. Manchego left us after a difficult kidding less than two weeks after we lost both her dam and sire a day apart. I never wanted to say goodbye to this quiet, gentle, amazing doe. Planet Chego, we miss you.
Manchego had a funky second freshening with 4 huge kids, a rough delivery and some mastitis. We're hoping her 3F is a bit easier on her! I dried her off after LA and hope a break does her good! She's a very correct and dairy doe in general appearance. I'm very proud of this doe and hope next year we get to see all the potential she has!
Prettiest doe kid for 2015 goes to! Manchego freshened with our best FF udder. A mini version of her mothers, her udder is high, wide, boasts large easily expressed teats, a strong medial, and buttery soft texture. We've retained her full younger sister and brother into our herd for 2016.
